Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce a new wireless charging solution for its upcoming flagship smartphone. The brand made an announcement on its official Weibo page teasing the new Mi Charge Turbo, which will be unveiled on 9 September. According to the Post, it will be a wireless charging solution designed for the "5G era", so it will likely remain a special feature for the brand's upcoming 5G devices.
The current Xiaomi cable charging solutions reach a maximum of 27W and some of its phones such as the Mi9 support wireless charging speeds of up to 20W. According to speculation, the new Mi Charge Turbo will offer speeds of 30 watts, but we will have to wait and see if that remains.
