Redmi K20 Pro

The Redmi K20 Pro is a 6.39" phone with a 1080x2340p resolution display. The Snapdragon 855 Chipset is paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128/256GB of storage. The main camera is 48+8+13MP and the selfie camera is 20MP. The battery has a 4000mAh capacity.
Google just released stable Android 10 for the Pixel family earlier today. As per usual, Essential was hot on their tail with the update for the Essential Phone. The next OEM to release Android 10 may surprise you: Xiaomi is rolling it out to the Redmi K20 Pro in China and India.
The latest MIUI 10 update for the Redmi K20 Pro brings stable Android 10 along with it. This is impressive for a number of reasons. Essential is fast with updates because they have only one phone and it runs basically stock Android. Xiaomi has dozens of devices to worry about and most of them run the heavy MIUI skin on top of Android. Because of this, the company has typically lagged behind (though not as mad as other OEMs).
Xiaomi has been recruiting beta testers for MIUI based on Android 10 over the last month, so it was clear they were getting ready for the big release. They rolled out the first Android 10 beta to the Redmi K20 Pro on August 9th. The stable update begins rolling out today in China and India. We don’t have the download links yet for the European/international model, which is known as the Mi 9T Pro. You can download the OTA files below (make sure to download the correct one for your region). Kudos to Xiaomi for being on top of Android 10. We hope this continues with more of the company’s devices.

Note: The article previously mentioned the update was rolling out globally. It has been corrected to be China and India only.
